It’s always now…Sam Harris

Here’s the truth. Sam Harris speaks the truth. I’m at a point in life when I honestly don’t know how many days I have left. Maybe more maybe less. I’ve lost friends. We all have. None of us knows what’s around the corner. I don’t mean this in a morbid way, just watch this video.  What a beautiful way to express the only real option we have if we don’t want to keep running away from the past and worrying about or breathlessly anticipating the future. . . It’s always now. It is. I forget.  I tend to look over my shoulder. I tend to worry about the future. I try to stay present.  It’s what we have.

This youtube video by Sam Harris showed up in my mailbox today. It’s a beautifully expressed memento mori.
